About Jorinde Buskermolen - van den Thillart
Jorinde Buskermolen - van den Thillart began her musical training at the Utrecht School of the Arts with Joyce Tan, then earned her Bachelor's degree at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Theodora Geraets (2012). She went on to graduate from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London with Boris Brovtsyn (2013). She attended masterclasses with Igor Oistrakh, Ivry Gitlis, Philippe Graffin, Katalin Sebestyen and Noam Greenberg, among others. As a soloist she performed works by Prokofiev, Chausson and Tchaikovsky, as well as Schindler's List. Jorinde plays a French Caussin violin from around 1875. She is married to Alexander Buskermolen and has three children. She now has over 20 years of teaching experience and teaches violin, Music for Little Ones and the Eigenwijs course. Jorinde has three children — and all three play an instrument at ConAnima!
