About Juan Limón Romero
Juan Limón Romero (1994, Seville) grew up in a musical environment: at the age of 6 he was already singing in the Juan de Triana choir. From age 12 he studied cello with Mª Isabel Quirós (Suzuki method) and later with Dirk Vanhuysse, principal cellist of the Real Orquesta Sevillana. He played in the Sibelius String Quartet and in the youth orchestras of Córdoba, Granada and Andalusia. He earned his Bachelor's degree at the Seville Conservatoire with Israel Fausto Martínez Melero and his Master's at the HKU with Jeroen den Herder. During his studies he immersed himself in the Alexander Technique with Criss Taylor and Vivian Mackie, a direct student of Pau Casals.
