Eigenwijs Music is a musical course for children aged 4 to 8 who would love to do something with music but don't yet know which instrument they want to play. The lessons cover a wide range of musical skills. This course is currently not running. As an alternative there is the General Musical Education course at the Lekkenburg in Bloemendaal, on Wednesdays at 2:30 pm (ages 4-5) and 3:00 pm (ages 6-7).
What you will learn
- Learning to read notes through play
- Clapping and recognising rhythms
- Getting to know the violin, guitar, piano and rhythm instruments
- Discovering music from around the world (including African and Iranian music)
